Chelmsford SKC News Article

The Club are very pleased to be featured in this weeks edition of the Chelmsford  & Mid Essex Times newspaper who reported on the success we had last weekend when  eight Chelmsford members travelled to Nottingham and  were selected for the Karate Union of Great Britain's Central Kata Squad for 2018.

Those selected by Sensei Frank Brennan (8th Dan) were Lucy Davy, Alexander Lockett, Nick Nelson, Emma Burke, Lisa Ironman, Sensei Richard Kheder, Megan Naylor-Jones and Sensei Richard Naylor-Jones.

We meet a lot of people both inside and outside of the KUGB who are keen to train with this master. The great thing for these eight people is they are actually doing it and now following selection have a further seven dedicated Squad sessions with Sensei Brennan as they look to develop their Kata skills.

Thank you to the Chelmsford & Mid Essex Times for publishing this.  The report is on Page 8 and the newspaper is 50p from your local retailer or available on line at http://www.chelmsfordandmidessextimes.co.uk
