Chelmsford Karate Club took time this week both on Monday and Tuesday to show support for World Mental Health Day - 10th October.
During the Training Sessions, Sensei Richard spoke about the importance of raising awareness of Mental Health, about what we can do to support those with Mental Health issues and what you can do for yourself to look after your own mental health and well being.
He also explained that Karate, in itself, promotes mental health as well as physical well being. Beyond the technical skills that are taught, our system of training provides individuals with the benefits of self development, self confidence, self esteem and helps to develop an overall positive attitude that can impact on all other aspects of life.

Sensei Richard appreciated everyone listening and encouraged everyone to provide support and help to those suffering from Mental Health.
