On Wednesday members from Chelmsford SKC attended a Shotokan Tigers Half term Special Course. A large number of students attended, ranging from White Belt to Black Belt, and they were taught by Sensei Jane Naylor-Jones (5th Dan).
The course started with a warm up, and then the Tigers were put through their basics techniques.
With a three hour course and a lot of hard work there was also the need for a break...
Sensei Jane had a number of Assistant Instructors who then were able to take smaller classes according to grade level. While some higher Grades practiced their Team Kata for the upcoming Tigers Competition in March and KUGB National Championships in May.
At the end, there was time for them to work on their speed, balance and teamwork skills as they let off some steam with some relay races!
As usual the course was a great success, the date of the Chelmsford Tigers Easter Special Course will be the 8th April so please put this in your diary.
