Today the Essex Chronicle Newspaper reported in their Community Section about our recent Free Karate Taster event at Dovedale Sports Centre. It is great that so many people came along to help raise awareness of Mental Health and that the Essex Chronicle has supported this by publishing an article about our event to help get readers supporting this important initiative.
Karate has positive benefits for Mental Health and well being. The Club and the Karate Union of Great Britain are keen to support and raise awareness of the importance of Mental Health.
There is a great photo of everyone who attended and also a picture of Sensei Jane Naylor-Jones, Sensei Richard Naylor-Jones and Sensei Richard Kheder with our special guests - Councillor Julia Jeapes, Lesley Bailey from InterAct and John Scott who was representing Councillor Stephanie Scott, Chelmsford City Council for Disabled Children and Adults.
Thank you to the Essex Chronicle. There is a picture of their article below and you can obtain your own copy for £1.50 from local retailers in Chelmsford.
