Sensei Dot is in the Essex Chronicle!   The newspaper report explains that Sensei Dot has honoured with an Award from the Prime Minister, David Cameron.  

The article, that is highlighted on the front page and then reported in full on Page 13, explains that Dot helped to pioneer women's involvement in Karate.  Prime Minister David Cameron said "Dot has been a pioneer in women's karate and has trained and mentored thousands of young people over her 50 years as a volunteer.  I'm delighted to make Dot a Point of Light".

Dot's MP John Whittingdale, Secretary for Culture, Media and Sport also paid tribute "I warmly congratulate Dot on receiving a Point of Light award which is richly deserved."
