Chelmsford SKC News Article

Chelmsford Shotokan Karate Club are in the Essex Chronicle Newspaper again.  This time following their success at the Karate Union of Great Britain (KUGB) Southern Region Championships in Reading.

The article reports on the incredible achievements of our strong squad and there is a picture of the TEN (yes TEN) Trophies we won along with a large number of medals proudly worn by our team members.

The Chelmsford Squad won Nine Golds, plus the Most Outstanding Competitor, seven Silver medals and fourteen Bronze Medals.  This success follows on from the medals won at the KUGB British National Championships in May.  An incredible feat as the KUGB is the largest single style Karate organisation in the UK.
