Chelmsford SKC News Article

On Sunday 17 July, Chelmsford Shotokan Karate Club held their Annual Picnic for Family and Friends at Hylands Park.

The weather was excellent and attracted a lot of members and their families from the Club ready to enjoy the afternoon.  Sensei Richard announced that the ‘Hyland Games’ were officially open and the more active members of the party joined in a game of Softball while others chose to relax and enjoy the sun.   There then was a much needed refreshment break followed by an interesting series of ‘no rules’ relay races.

The party continued with a lot of laughter and a side show water gun fight and water sponges with some of those younger present making sure the adults did not miss out on the fun!

As usual everyone had a great time.  Below are a few of the pictures from the Picnic and games - more can be found on our Club Facebook page.
