Chelmsford SKC News Article

Congratulations to Finlay McFarlane who was awarded his Martial Arts Badge by the Scout Association.

To achieve the award Finlay has been regularly training with Chelmsford Karate Club for over six months and had to demonstrate that he has improved by at least one level over that period.  Finlay started training with us last November and has achieved two grades (Orange and Red Belt) and he is now working towards his Yellow Belt grading this weekend when KUGB's Cheif grading Examiner Sensei Sherry (9th Dan) travels to Chelmsford.

Sensei Richard supported Finlay's application for the award by writing to his Scout Leader and gave feedback on Finlay's Karate progress to date.  Well done!
