The article reports on our recent success at the Karate Union of Great Britain's (KUGB) 39th  Shotokan Cup. At the event Eric Austin-Coskry gained bronze in the Male (16-17) Junior Kumite, whilst Mia Hillsden came both third in the Girls (Under 16) Kata and won the Girls (10-11) Kumite.

The photograph was taken at our Chelmsford Dojo at Dovedale Sports Centre in the 'Studio' where our Tigers Classses are held every Wednesday for children aged 4 and upwards.  Interestingly, both Eric and Mia started in our Tiger Classes, with Eric starting in our first ever Tiger Class held over 13 years ago.  The progress these two have made, as have many others, is based on hard work and dedication.

Well done to Eric, Mia and all those who competed!
