Chelmsford SKC News Article

On Sunday members of Chelmsford Karate Club gathered together to celebrate Christmas at a party featuring 'Chelmsford's Got Talent', music, games, quiz, lots of fun and much, much more.

Everyone was welcome and many brought their family along to join in with all the festive games.  There was a lot of fun and laughter throughout the afternoon.

A highlight was the Talent Show - this included a number of musical acts with musicians of all ages ranging from the young to the mature on the keyboard, guitar and electric guitar - including a professional musician!  For variety there were some comedians (not including Sensei Richard's performance), three Rubik Cubes completed in record time, a food eating race and a funny poem. There were also a number of singers singing Pop songs, Christmas songs and a mass Choir at the end (someone named - 'The Sticky Plasters' when they started to sing 'Do they know its Christmas?) to round the show off.

Everyone had a great time!  Thank you to all those who came along, brought food (especially the home made cakes) and our invaluable team of helpers.
