Congratulations to Megan Naylor-Jones who has successfully passed her KUGB Assistant Instructor Qualification this week.
Megan had been studying for her KUGB (Karate Union of Great Britain) Young Leader Award since 2016. Following the completion of Bronze and Silver Level, last September she was awarded Gold for her understanding of the responsibilities, procedures and volunteering over 60 hours of teaching assistance at the Club.
Since then Megan celebrated her 18th birthday and became eligible to study for the KUGB Assistant Instructor Award. For the past four months she has been studying and completing a range of Instructional tasks in classes helping the Club's Senior Instructors. Megan, a Second Dan Black Belt and current KUGB England Squad member, was presented with her certificate at one of the Club's training sessions last night by Sensei Richard.
Megan, who is a Young Sports Ambassador for Community Sport & Wellbeing Chelmsford, is keen to continue to develop her coaching skills is now looking forward to studying her KUGB National Instructor Qualification. Well done.
