Richard had traveled to Birmingham in his capacity as the KUGB Publicity and Promotions Officer to talk to Danny Kelly about Karate and the 49th KUGB National Championships that would take place the next day at the Barclaycard Arena.

He arrived at the BBC Birmingham Office and took the time to change into his Karate Gi ready for the interview, much to the amusement of BBC WM Presenter Danny Kelly! During the interview Richard was asked to do a very brief demonstration of some Karate techniques that can be found on the BBC WM Facebook site at https://www.facebook.com/bbcwm/videos/vb.120319491340099/882946275077413/?type=2&theater  and also a phone in.
