Chelmsford SKC News Article

Following the Karate Union of Great Britain's (KUGB) Special Dan Grade Course in Bath on Saturday with Sensei Sherry, Sensei Poynton and Sensei Brennan, we are very pleased to announce that Sensei Richard Kheder passed his 4th  Dan Black Belt.

This is a tremendous achievement and has taken hard work, dedication and passion to reach the high standard expected for this level within the KUGB.  Richard was supported by Sensei Jane and Richard Naylor-Jones throughout the year and on the day as he prepared for the tough examination.  The day started with 2 hours of intense training that was both physically and mentally challenging.  This was then followed by the examination with only those taking the exam, the small team of Officials and of course the three Examiners entering the room.

Following the examination Richard was awarded his 4th Dan and commended on his performance by Sensei Sherry, Chief Instructor of the KUGB.  Well done.
