Our Family Classes, also known as All Grades Classes, are for all ages and abilities within karate, from first-lesson beginners to elite athletes.

Louis started training at Chelmsford Karate Club in 2018, at the age of 18, just before starting University. He was inspired by his girlfriend, Megan, who had been training for many years beforehand.

In 2024 Louis attended the Spring Karate Course in Torbay, Devon, and attained his Shodan black belt.

In 2025 Louis attended the Spring Karate Course again and earned his Instructor’s Qualification.
Louis frequently helps Sensei Jane and Sensei Richard with teaching as he works towards his 2nd Dan.
In April 2025, Kirsten passed her 2nd Dan at the Spring Karate Course in Torbay under Sensei Billy Higgins (8th Dan), Sensei Jim Brennan (8th Dan), Sensei Frank Brennan (8th Dan) and Sensei Garry Harford (8th Dan)
